On Friday, we woke bright and early to take a van ride to Cologne, or Köln, as they call it in Germany. First we visited St. George's International School. We got a tour from the prefects, joined a sixth form assembly, then our students visited classrooms aligned with their intended grade level and subject. One teacher even prepared a binder full of all her lesson plans for one of our students! They were lovely hosts and our students were amazed with the facilities and opportunities there. After our visit, we had a few hours to see Cologne. The tour guide told us lots of facts and stories (my favorite!) about the cathedral and surrounding area. More details about that in the slideshow!
